  1. Good Cockpit light on our sailboat 4 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Nov 2013

Think this is a great invention for boating. The only thing I would suggest is that the metal parts be changed to something that does not rust easily. It is great for finding your boat in an anchorage and easily boarding after dark. Used like this the light is very bright at night. Everyone ask where they come from. After one year though, the metal has rusted.

  2. SoLite Works So Far 3 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Sep 2013

I don't know if it is rainproof yet, but otherwise, from charging to length of time it works, it is as advertised. On our sailboat it is best used as artificial moonlight, or light to get about the cabin without wearing down the batteries. It is not a substitute for the lighting in the boat. Even on the high setting, it does not provide sufficient light to read by comfortably when directly overhead, so don't buy it for that purpose.

  3. Great Invention 5 Star Review

Extremely usable on our boat; Will probably order a second one.
